earlyHTA of NeoDoppler to monitor cerebral blood flow velocity in pediatric cardiac surgery
During pediatric cardiac surgery, a sensitive and real-time monitor of cerebral blood flow velocity play an important role of supporting timely clinical decisions. Traditional doppler ultrasound devices may have limitations for pediatric cardiac surgery use. User-friendly design should consider easy to use which means no professional training needed. Safety is also an important issue for patients, especially neonatal. For electrical equipment, no harmful ionizing radiation used should take into account. Moreover, materials of the device applied to skin need to comply with biocompatibility. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyse the potential cost-effectivness of the new technology, NeoDoppler.
