Tackling socioeconomic differences in weight development among youth
This project is a sub-project of the "Tackling socioeconomic differences in weight development among youth (TACKLE)" project, which aims to explore when, how and why socioeconomic differences in body weight develop during childhood. In this sub-project, multilevel determinants of different dietary behaviors, physical activity and sedentary behaviors among adolescents will be assessed, focusing on the role of the neighborhood food and activity environments. A cross-sectional survey will be conducted in schools in neighborhoods with different levels of affluence. The food and activity environments will also be mapped using GIS data.
