Tort Law in France. A Comparative View on the 2017 Reform Draft

For more than 200 years, the tort law provisions of the French Civil Code has remained essentially unchanged. After the enactment of a comprehensive contract law reform in October 2016, the French Ministry of Justice is now working on a reform of civil liability rules. The conference is intended to present, through the 2017 Reform Draft, current tort law issues from a comparative standpoint.
