Arktisk dag 2019
Arktisk Dag ved Universitetet i Oslo arrangeres for fjerde gang 30. oktober. Tema denne gang er "A changing Arctic" - Arktis i endring.
The Arctic is becoming synonymous with change. This change is occurring across different scales, at variable rates, and is affecting numerous stakeholders in very different ways. As such it is necessary to retain and foster an interdisciplinary and multi-faceted perspective towards the Arctic.
This year's Arctic Day speakers present example of change across numerous disciplines; space, climate, biology, environment, law, geophysics, and social sciences. The event is hosted this year by the Department of Geosciences / the Centre for Earth Evolution and Dynamics (CEED) and the Arctic Committee of the University of Oslo.
Attending researchers (early career to senior) are welcome to present a poster during the evening networking session from 16:30. Please provide a tentative title upon registration.
Moderators: Brit Lisa Skjelkvåle, Arctic Committee, UiO and Carmen Gaina, CEED, UiO
