About the Workshop
The eye's pupil dilates when a person experiences focused attention, absorption, and cognitive arousal. For many decades, researchers have been using pupil size as an index of attention in studies across domains. This workshop focuses on pupillometry and its applications in ongoing research at RITMO.
The workshop will feature a number of presentations by researchers from RITMO and PSI, and two tutorials by guest presenters:
Lauren Fink, Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics, Frankfurt, Germany
Sebastiaan Mathôt, Dept. of Experimental Psychology, University of Groningen, The Netherlands
The workshop is tentatively planned to take place in person at RITMO. A schedule of presentations will be posted soon.
