I am currently working within the PIRC project on developing new meta reinforcement learning algorithms for the control of a semi-autonomous care robot with the aim of improving the ability of people living with decreased autonomy to complete tasks of daily living. 

Prior to this, I did my postdoc at the University of Oslo on the INTROMAT project where I worked within the mental health sphere to develop biosensor-based mood-state detection for Bipolar Disorder Type I. 

My PhD research focused on the development of a human-computer interface to control a robotic arm, based on the user's muscle activity (EMG).  

Throughout my research, I have been especially interested in how to apply transfer learning, unsupervised domain adaptation, reinforcement learning and domain generalization to address the inherent challenges of biosignal-based human-computer interface.
