RITMO had its official opening November 15th, which was celebrated with an entire week of workshops, showcases and international panels.
We are currently recruiting one PhD fellow in Musical Microrhythm in Jazz in connection with the research project TIME - Timing and Sound in Musical Microrhythm. The project is affiliated with the new RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion. Other vacancies and research opportunities at RITMO are available here.
They visited San Diego, Birmingham, Espoo and Ghent.
The publication was presented by Associate Professor Kristian Nymoen at the 14th Sound and Music Computing Conference in Espoo, Finland in July.
