New guest researcher: Kari Anne Bjerkestrand

Kari Anne Vadstensvik Bjerkestrand is a guest researcher at fourMs during the spring of 2011. She is working on the project Sverm together with Alexander Refsum Jensenius. See biography below for more information on Kari Anne.

Kari Anne (1968) is educated as dancer at Statens Balletthøgskole 1986-89, Oslo and School for New Dance Development, Amsterdam, 1989-91. Alongside her dance career, she was practising and teaching tai chi kineo continously for 20 years. Kari Anne was the leader of Norsk Tái Chi Kineo Institute 1996-2006 and Bevegelsesrommet 2006-2008. She was the artistic leader of Open Dance Company 1996-2005. Today Kari Anne is running her own firm, BJERKESTRAND, teaching her own method BodyMindFlow mainly within leadership development. She also initiates and leads various dance projects, including a recent performance of baroque dance called Rubinhjerte.  Her book “BEDRE FLYT” is being released in April 2011.
