New Postdoc MinHo Song

We welcome MinHo Song, our new postdoc who joins us from South Korea

Minho is from South Korea, and this is his first visit to Europe, but neither he nor his wife seemed intimidated by the large amounts of snow that greeted them when they landed at the airport. Minho started in position the 1st of February.

He is a graduate of KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), with a PhD culture technology in 2013.

From earlier Minho holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics as well as a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

His research is in musical signal processing, and he has primarily worked with spatialisation of sound.

This will come in handy at our Motion Capture lab where we currently have a 48 speaker array, here he will work with perception of sound, spatialisation and sound producing actions.
