JUTPETRO – Petroleum Law

Petroleum Law deals with the public regulation of Norwegian offshore petroleum activities.
First, the topic addresses the relationship between the authorities and the holders of a licence for petroleum production (the licensees). Special emphasis is put on the licence system which regulates the successive phases of a petroleum project. Important aspects of the safety regulation and the petroleum taxation system are also dealt with.
Secondly, the topic addresses the relationship between market participants in the gas market. Access to the gas infrastructure is dealt with, taking into account the relevant EC secondary legislation regarding the internal market, and related competition law.
Thirdly, the topic addresses the relationship between the licensees and third parties, dealing with various forms of liability regulation, including liability for petroleum damage"

Withdrawal from an examination
It is possible to take this exam up to 3 times. If you withdraw from the exam after the deadline or during the exam, this will be counted as an examination attempt.
