Here is a preliminary schedule for the exam. The exam will be in Room 720 in the Niels Henrik Abel building. Note that changes may occur, so make sure that you check the list again on the day before the exam.
The final version of the notes have been uploaded on the menu to the left. I have also added a few solutions to the practice problems.
Here is a summary of the course, and a few words about the exam.
Here are some notes on the mandatory assignment.
Here are some problems taken from Hartshorne’s book for the revision towards the exam. (Apologies for the terrible scan..)
The exam will be Monday 15.3 and Tuesday 16.3. The exact schedule will be decided later.
We will likely need to do this via Zoom, so please try to make arrangements in order to be able to write online (e.g., screenshare on ipad or filming your notebook, etc).
The compulsory assignment can be found here. Deadline: February 18th 14:30.
See here for the weekly exercises. I will solve a few of these problems next Monday.
The notes from today’s lecture can be found on the left of this page.
The curriculum will be the following set of lecture notes:
Lecture notes for MAT4210
We will also need material from
Lecture notes in Commutative Algebra
For the first couple of weeks we will have lectures via Zoom, and then we will hopefully be back in the seminar rooms at NHA. (Send me an email if you do not have the Zoom links.)
