Dear all,

I just posted an updated version of the last set of notes. In the new version I corrected some mistakes in the calculations of the solved exercise.

Thanks Ingvild for finding the mistakes.

Hi all

I uploaded a brief solution of the parts of ps3 which I did not manage to cover during the last seminar of my part.

I suggest also to have a look at section 4.8.5 "Insurance Markets" of the book to complement my solution sketch.

Hi guys,

Probably some of you may be interested in the ESOP lecture by the Harvard economist Richard Freeman next week, on the consequences of workers ownership, i.e. when employees own (part of) the company they work for (for example in form of stocks).

Already by reading the description (link below), you can notice how the lecture relates to our ECON4240  discussion on how a correct allocation of property rights can alleviate the moral hazard problem.

Date: Tirsdag 15. mars kl. 1900, Wergeland.

P.S. Problem Set 3 is on-line now.
