This roadmap is based on more than five years of hands-on innovation work in Norway’s academic biotechnology ecosystem, supported by funding from the Research Council of Norway. During this period, we designed, tested and evaluated new approaches to innovation training, acceleration, funding and policy development.
We have combined these insights with international competitiveness data and expert opinion to develop practical recommendations. These tools offer a route to strengthen entrepreneurship culture, drive up both innovation volume and quality, expand the pipeline of research-based ventures, and ultimately deliver greater societal value from investment in Norwegian biotechnology.
At this launch event, we will share the roadmap’s key recommendations and discuss what they mean for the future of Norwegian biotechnology.
