Blindern campus has many hidden gems, and a great deal is being done to promote biodiversity on campus. Yet very few people know that there are a number of red-listed plant species just a stone’s throw from Kristine Bonnevie’s house, or that we have bat boxes placed around the campus and that several red-listed bird species have been recorded at Blindern!

To kick off the semester, we are inviting both returning and new students—as well as anyone else who is interested—to join a digitally guided tour exploring the rich biodiversity of the Blindern campus. Along the way, we'll see species such as Germander speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys), dropwort (Filipendula vulgaris), and many other fascinating plants and wildlife.
