Here, we can pause, become more aware of our own relationship with nature, and explore how living in a time of great change affects us. We want to create a space for both sorrow and joy, anxiety and hope, love for nature, and frustration over what is happening to it.
Staying committed to climate and nature causes over time can be demanding. Our hope is that Nature Conversations can become a place where you can find the strength to persevere. Together, we’ll explore how we can strengthen and inspire one another.
About Natursamtaler
The discussion group meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00–5:30 p.m. (starting in October). Each session has its own theme and consists of a check-in, a brief informational presentation, a group discussion, and a concluding reflection exercise. You can attend all the sessions or come to individual events.
The discussions are led by Birgitte Fredriksen (Student Humanist in Oslo) and Anne Anita in collaboration with student staff at Grønt Kontor UiO on the Blindern Campus. Participation is free, and we serve soup😊
