On December 7, two-factor authentication will be activated for several email and calendar programs. Two-factor authentication will then be required on Mac and mobile devices owned by UiO, for:
- Apple Mail and Calendar,
- Gmail and Google Calendar,
- Outlook for Mac, and
- Gnome Evolution
As of December 12, a requirement for two-factor authentication will be introduced for these programs also on privately owned devices.
Automatic setup
UiO recommends enrolling Android phones and tablets into Workspace One.
Workspace One will automatically set up your email, calendar, and Eduroam on your device.
Workspace One is available for employees and students for use on personal or UiO owned devices.
