Find variables of interest

Here you add custom variables from the dataset using File Adapters. First, copy some premade File Adapters for Bojarskaite2025.

Download some file Adapters here

Copy the file adapters to your project folder:

[project folder]/code/+[project name]/+fileadapter

(Hint: To locate in MATLAB: In NANSEN menu:
Nansen -> Change current folder->Current Project)

 

Load datafile

Choosing which file within session to get the variables from:

  1. Switch tabs from Dataset Explorer to File Viewer
  2. Right click on a data file
  3. Select “Create New Variable from File”

Choose: Wheel.csv

Right-click “Create New Variable from File”

 

Choose Variables

Open box Data Variable Selector

Choose :

  • dt
  • dist_tot
  • Speed_cm_s_

Click button Select

 

Check Variable

You can see the custom variables and which file adapters they use from Nansen > Configure > Variables
