Master's students at the Department of Social Anthropology must submit a notification form to Sikt (the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research, previously NSD) prior to planned fieldwork.

The notification form should be submitted to Sikt as early as possible (minimum 30 days) before the start of fieldwork to ensure a timely response.
When completing the form:
- Enter UiO in the "Responsible institution" field in point 4
- Enter the name of your assigned supervisor in the "Project leader" field (Please clear this with the supervisor in advance!)
NOTE: If you have an external supervisor, please enter SAIs Head of teaching, in point 4. If this is the case, please notify the Department.
