CS: Mechanics (programme option)

Scientific computations are today a naturally integrated, invaluable part of the subject mechanics and simulations are used in everything from investigations of basic mysteries like turbulence to concrete applications such as strength calculations in constructions. New applications such as coupled multi-physics and multi-scale problems, biomedical applications, and big data analysis put new requirements for the mastery and understanding of the benefits and pitfalls of computations.
