Procedure for fire prevention round
The procedure shall ensure regular inspections to uncover, correct and prevent deficiencies that can affect fire safety.
This procedure applies to the Floor Contact’s area.
The manager is responsible for ensuring that the Floor Contact conducts and documents the fire prevention round. The manager is responsible for taking action after the fire prevention round is carried out.
The fire prevention round is an inspection of the common area with associated escape routes in the Floor Contact’s area. The Floor Contact must conduct a systematic visual review of equipment and installations that have been established to safeguard fire safety. The fire prevention round form should be used.
The fire prevention round must be carried out at least once every quarter. Local risk assessment may entail more frequent fire prevention rounds.
The Floor Contact shall report errors and deficiencies to the Speak up! portal.
