At UiO's annual innovation conference Science Impact we focus on the opportunities that lies in collaboration between academia and industry and framework conditions needed to put research to use for the benefit of patients and society.

This year we had sessions on preparedness; immunotherapy and cancer; clean production of energy and products; autoimmune diseases; and quantum technology and emerging technologies.

For the first time we arranged a pitching competition for young talents. This was won by Amanda Frøynes from the startup Outrun who was awarded the Science Impact 2026 talent prize.
