Co-Create Oslo Summer Programme 2026
Learn more about what we did this summer!
Are you a student at BI, UiO, OsloMet, or Kristiania with an idea you want to bring to life, or simply the drive to build something meaningful? CoCreate Oslo is looking for students who want to solve real problems, work in cross-disciplinary teams, and create something that actually matters. You don't need to think of yourself as an entrepreneur. You just need to show up ready to build. Join our 6-week summer program and go from zero to solution.
What is the summer programme?
Starting 15 June, you kick off with a week-long intensive bootcamp where you learn design thinking, research real user needs, define problems worth solving, build prototypes, and develop a business foundation. From there, you form a team, pick a project, and spend the remaining weeks building it out — backed by mentors and the broader CoCreate Oslo network.
In week two, your team registers a real company with an org number and a bank account. From that point, you receive a starting salary of 10 000 kr, with the opportunity to get uptil 30 000 kr as you progress through the summer. This way you can focus fully on building, with no need to balance a part-time job on the side.
You'll be working out of iHUB at Forskningsparken, a vibrant startup environment surrounded by researchers, founders, and other ambitious students.
This year, 4 of the 7 Oslo teams who received the STUD-ENT grant (a million NOK for their startup) had been through the CoCreate summer programme. Grab this opportunity, and you could be next.
What you'll work on: Projects focus on problems with real societal impact, including Calm Technologies where you rethink tech to reduce it's invasion into daily life, and Save The Free press where you find solutions to shift medias negative impact into something that builds thriving, connected communities
What you get: This programme is a fast track to building a viable solution validated by real user feedback and market research. It's also a unique opportunity to access entrepreneurial resources across Oslo's universities and six weeks of hands-on mentorship.
You also get:
- A desk at iHUB, Forskningsparken
- A starting salary of 10,000 NOK, with the opportunity to earn up to 30,000 NOK as your project grows
- Mentorship from experts in design, business, and technology
- Access to a makerspace, workshops, lectures, and social events that build a real community around you
- A tailored pathway to take your idea further after the programme, including access to student incubators across the Oslo university network
- Support finding and applying for available funding
The programme is completely free for all Oslo students and made possible by Innovation Norway and Oslo Kommune.

Co-Create Connects Entrepreneurial Students Across Oslo Universities
Backed by Innovation Norway, we create a space where students can explore their entrepreneurial potential and form cross-disciplinary teams. We welcome all students from BI, Kristiania, OsloMet and UiO.
Our programme is targeted towards those of you that would like to explore entrepreneurship, and would like to meet other like minded people. We start off with design thinking, giving you the framework to test out your ideas. Then we hold a variety of lectures and social events where you can dig deeper into topics spanning from effectuation, team composition, and funding.
We post our upcoming events at Instagram and LinkedIn so that you can stay updated on our activities.
Previous Co-Create Activities
Hackathon Weekend 2026
This march we gathered 80 students across the Oslo Universities at The Village at BI. The students worked intensively from Friday to Sunday, where they found their teams and created solutions in just 48 hours.
In this hackathon we focused heavily on team merging and design thinking. The students were given the framework to start with a problem, and had to shift their minds to focus on the problem before building a solution. We saw a clear learning curve where the students understood the value in truly understanding the user needs over building the most impressive technical solution.
Big congratulations to the Calm Tech winners Clear Minds, we are very excited to see how you evolve your solution further!
Co-Create STUD-ENT 2026
Every year Innovation Norway grants 1 million NOK to student companies through the STUD-ENT grant.
This year 7 startups got the grant in Oslo, and we are very proud to say that 4 of these companies have been in the Co-Create programme. Meaning that more than half of Oslo's recipients this year have been part of Co-Create at some point!
This is what Co-Create is all about, giving early-stage student founders the tools, network, and confidence to turn their ideas into real ventures. Seeing them go on to earn this kind of recognition means everything to us.
A huge congratulations to Co-Creators Outrun, NiU Sleep, Staaltro and Juridex, and to all other Oslo recipients. Oslo's student startup scene has never been stronger!
