A joint effort for AI
Enthusiasts, skeptics and the curious – you are all welcome to 2-hour sessions where we exchange knowledge and ideas, and discuss how artificial intelligence – AI – can be useful at UiO. You can just listen, if that works best for you, or you can contribute with your own experiences and ideas.
The goal is for UiO to use AI in good ways and for us to benefit from each other's experiences.
Idea exchange
The events are set up by the IT department. On the agenda there will be presentations from experts on how they use AI or want to use AI, and from the IT Department on which tools are available and what may be coming in the near and more distant future. After the presentations there will be a break with the opportunity for a chat before we move on to an open discussion for ideas, strategic initiatives, needs and whatever people have on their minds.
We divide the sessions by field and interest, and have separate events for research and dissemination, education and administrative data processing. Since we know that the autumn calendar fills up quickly, we are setting up two fairly similar sessions per field with a good interval between them.
We ask you to register for the events. This is simply so that we know whether to prepare for a full auditorium or a smaller group. You can of course register for several of the sessions.
Where and when?
Detailed content and registration for each event can be found at the links below.
All events will have Norwegian as main language, but the discussion sessions are of course also open for contributions in English.
All sessions take place in Auditorium Simula in Ole Johan Dahls hus, Gaustadallen 23b.
