Before leaving Norway:
1: Fill out the "Completion Form” and the Q form, drop off at Knutepunktet- International Student Reception
2: UiO sends the forms to the Loan Fund to register that you are no longer a Quota student.
When back in your home country
You will receive a letter sent in the postal mail aprox. 2-6 months after you have finished your studies. This letter will inform you of the procedures you have to follow to cancel the loan.
Make sure to update the correct address under "Dine sider" at the Loan Funds web page.
How to apply for cancellation of debt:
You can apply when you are able to document that you have lived in your home country for at least one year after completing your study programme in Norway. This can be documented through a declaration from your employer.
- Log in to lanekassen.no using MinID or BankID and use the online application. Attach a declaration from your employer showing the date from which you have been employed and that you are still an employee.
- If you no longer have access to Dine sider, you will need to submit the declaration from your employer by regular post to:
