Documentation Guidelines
- Upload documents preferably in PDF or JPG format on the online application system (Søknadsweb) within the application deadline.
- When uploading documents, you acknowledge that the University of Oslo may contact the issuing institution for verification.
- Submission of fraudulent documents is illegal, and will be reported to the proper authorities and may lead to dismissal and loss of right to study. Your are liable for uploading true and unaltered documents.
- If admitted, you must bring your original documents with you as you might be asked to present the documents to the University. Failure to submit documents on request will lead to dismissal.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Required education:
- Baccalauréat de l'Enseignement Secondaire Général (from 1995 and later) + English proficiency, or
- Diplôme de Bachelier de l'Enseignement du Second Degré (before 1995) + English proficiency, or
- Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement Secondaire Technique + English proficiency, or
- Brevet de Technicien l’Enseignement Secondaire + English proficiency, or
- Cameroon GCE Ordinary Level Examinations (with pass with grade A, B or C in at least 4 subjects) + Cameroon GCE Advanced Level Examinations (with pass with grade A, B or C in at least 3 subjects)

All applicants must upload scanned copies of their supporting documents into the application portal, please name your uploaded files as suggested in the tables below.

Applicants with secondary education from the English system:Applicants with the GCE advanced Level Examinations is exempt from the test requirement. Applicants with secondary education from the French system:Applicants with secondary education from the French system are required to document the English proficiency requirement with a test result. |

Your statement of purpose should be one page, typed, double spaced (max. 400 words). Tell us why the course is important to you, how it helps you fulfill future goals or how it relates to your current studies or employment. Any attempt to obtain admission with fraudulent documents is illegal and will be reported to the proper authorities.
Important about documentation
- A random selection of students can be asked to present their original documents before starting their studies.
- You are responsible for uploading all required documentation, as well as ensuring that it is uploaded within the application deadline. As it may take several weeks for institutions and test centres to provide transcripts and/or test scores, please arrange for these documents to be issued as soon as possible.
- Please note that we maintain the right to contact institutions, firms, associations and government agencies for the purpose of explanation and/or verification of uploaded documents.
