Admitted student information

After you have been admitted to the Summer School, there are some important things you need to do before you arrive. Please complete the eight steps below.

1. Accept your place and download your admission letter

  • In the Application Portal you will find your admission letter, titled “iss oncampus.pdf/iss offcampus.pdf”, in “My documents”, under “Other documents”.
  • The letter includes important information about fees/scholarships, housing and course(s).

2. Pay your participation fees

  • Self-financed students: See admission letters for information about payment.
  • Pay by deadline or your admission will be cancelled.

3. Health insurance

You must be covered by either our ISS group health insurance or your own health insurance. 

4. Apply for a visitor's visa

The visa application process can take several weeks or months, remember to apply in time. 

5. Make your travel arrangements

Start planning your travel early.

6. Submit photo

In order to receive a UiO student ID card, you must submit one passport-sized photo online. Deadline: June 1

7. Special needs?

If you have special needs you must let us know about them within May 15. 

8. Register for an excursion

Excursion registration opens on May 2, 13:00 (UTC+02.00) and closes on May 27, 00:00  (UTC+02.00). You are invited to one excursion free of charge.
