The ISS welcomes you to a walk along the Aker River accompanied by the Activities Coordinator. The river runs through Oslo from Maridalen Lake to the Oslo fjord, and divides the city into an Eastern and Western part. A lovely path follows the river past waterfalls and old, restored industrial sites.

This is a great way to get to know the city, and your fellow students a bit better, while enjoying an afternoon stroll. The Activities Coordinator will schedule a few stops along the way to tell you some fun-facts about the river and its surroundings. They will also give you some inside tips on where to go and places to visit during your stay in Oslo.

Remember to wear sturdy shoes.
