To feed a growing population we need more sustainable food production, and we need to utilize existing resources better. This requires a transformation of the food system and the development of novel technologies and sources for food. How will this impact what we eat in the future?

Hvordan kan vi hver for oss og sammen bidra til å realisere veikartet for helsenæringen? Vi har gråpapir og post-it-lapper og inviterer alle til innspillstorg i Forskningsparken.

Vi ønsker bedrifter samt studenter fra Det medisinske fakultet, Det matematisk-naturvitenskapelige fakultet og Det utdanningsvitenskapelige fakultet velkommen til matchmakingsarrangement. I etterkant av arrangementet kan studentene søke sommerjobb i bedriftene.

How can new technologies help us build social relations and improve mental health? Do young people prefer to talk to chatbots instead of healthcare personnel? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the new technologies? Meet researchers from SINTEF and UiO who are experts in chatbots and language models; and a startup from Oslo Science Park.

Welcome to the second UiO Growth House innovation hangout of 2023 – a meeting place for academia and industry. This hangout is a collaboration with the technology transfer office Inven2 and is a part of the innovation conference Science Impact 2023.

Spend a day with great science, innovation and networking opportunities at this meeting place for academia, the institute sector, the public sector, start-ups and industry.​ The innovation conference had sessions on life sciences and energy & environment and was a part of Oslo Innovation Week 2023. The next conference is held 25 September 2024 as part of Oslo Innovation Week 2024.

Norge har en lavere andel FoU enn våre nordiske naboer og land vi liker å sammenligne oss med, målt i prosent av BNP. Særlig lav er andelen FoU utført og finansiert av næringslivet. Dette vil regjeringen gjøre noe med og setter som mål at FoU-investeringene i næringslivet skal utgjøre to prosent av BNP innen 2030. Arbeidet med en strategi for å nå målet er i gang. Målet tilsvarer nær en dobling på åtte år – hvordan skal det la seg gjøre? 

Norge skal bli ledende på helsenæring. Hva betyr regjeringens veikart for helsenæringen og verdikjedene vi presenterer i møtet for arbeidet framover?

Meet researchers from the University of Oslo, Oslo University Hospital and SINTEF as well as start-ups from the health incubator Aleap that are developing new sensor technology solutions for future healthcare.
