Mandatory assignment

The mandatory assignment has been evaluated by a teacher. The list of who has gotten their assignment approved can be found here. Please note that if you do not find your name on this list, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The list will also be posted on the 1st floor of Henrik Wergelands house.

Regarding mandatory assignment in NORINT0500

The assignment can be written about any of the twelve subjects in the course. You chose a subject, and write an essay on that subject (within the boundaries of the subjects taught in the course).

The intention of this assignment is to give you a chance to show your understanding of the subjects discussed, and to give you a chance to delve deeper into the subject.

Note that you have to get this assignment approved to be allowed to sit for exams.

The assignment should be about 2-3 pages long when written on a computer, with line spacing at 1,5 and size of font about 12pt.

Make a front page to the assignment where you write your name, the course code NORINT0500, and which subject you have written about (as it is called in the detailed plan of the course).

Velg et tema som tas opp på kurset, og skriv en oppgave om dette temaet.

Målet med oppgaven er at du skal kunne vise din forståelse av materien, og å gi deg en sjanse til å gå litt dypere inn i det.

Merk at du må få godkjent den obligatoriske oppgaven for å få lov til å gå opp til eksamen.

Oppgaven skal være 2-3 dataskrevne sider, med 1,5 linjeavstand og 12 pkt. skrift.

Lag en forside på oppgaven hvor du skriver navnet ditt, kurskoden NORINT0500, dato og hvilket tema du har valgt å skrive om (som det presenteres i detaljert undervisningsplan).

Mandatory information meeting

All students should attend a mandatory information meeting. There will be one meeting for international students, one meeting for students without regular admission to the University (medical doctors, refugees, researchers at the University), and one meeting for students admitted to the pay courses.

• International students: Mandatory information meeting on Thursday, August 18th at 1 p.m. Further information on where will be posted later. After the information meeting, it will be possible to get help registering in the StudentWeb.
• Students without regular admittance to the University: Mandatory information meeting on Wednesday, August 17th at 10 a.m. Further information on where will be posted later. After the information meeting, it will be possible to get help registering in the StudentWeb.
• Pay course students: information about the meeting will be included in the letter of acceptance.

Obligatorisk informasjonsmøte

Alle studenter som skal delta på norskkurs må komme på et obligatorisk informasjonsmøte. Det er et møte for internasjonale studenter, et for studenter uten regulært opptak til Universietetet (leger, flyktninger, vitenskapelig ansatte ved Universitetet), og et for betalingskurs.

• Internasjonale studenter: Obligatorisk informasjonsmøte torsdag 18. august kl. 13.00. Mer informasjon om sted vil komme. Etter informasjonsmøtet vil det være mulig å få hjelp til å registrere seg i StudentWeb.
• Studenter uten regulært opptak til Universitetet: obligatorisk informasjonsmøte onsdag 17. august kl. 10. Mer informasjon om sted vil komme. Etter informasjonsmøtet vil det være mulig å få hjelp til å registrere seg i StudentWeb.
• Betalingskursstudenter vil få informasjon om møtet i opptaksbrevet.
