Dear students of Norwegian Music!

We are soon ready for the exiting part of the MUS1401 course when YOU are the main persons. We have four seminars, 21 March, 28 March, 4 April, and 11 April, each with six students. Please prepare ca 8–9 minutes, then we will have appr. 5–6 minutes to give advise, discuss your projects etc. I will tell you much more about it in the lecture Thursday 14 March 14:15–16:00. During the last part I will have time to answer questions concerning YOUR projects.

You will find the latest updated seminar schedule on Canvas. Several names are still without topic. PLEASE send it to me as soon av possible (e-mail oyvin.dybsand@imv.uio.no or message in Canvas).

Dear International Student of Norwegian Music!

Please remember to hand in your topic for the Final Assignment to me on this e-mail before 12 March:

You will be scheduled to present your chosen topic in seminars Th. 21 and 28 Mar., 4 and 11 April. They will be led by me except 28 March, which will be led by Hans T. Zeiner-Henriksen. Please tell med AT ONCE in case you are not able to attend one of the seminars. I am going to make the scedule with your names this week.

Last not least: Please remember Hans' lecture on the forthcoming Thursday, 7 March. The topic is "Rock, popular music etc., Part 2"
