Rectorial debate in the centre of Oslo: Get involved and ask questions

The rectorial elections at the University of Oslo are important and we have therefore invited the candidates and their teams to the Old Ceremonial Hall (Gamle Festsal) in the centre of Oslo so that we can get to know them better and learn more about their programmes.

The rectorial elections are fast approaching. In April we and our students will be voting to decide who will be leading the UiO for the next 4-year period with effect from August. We will be choosing between two rectorial teams, led by Hans Petter Graver and Svein Stølen. We are hereby inviting all employees and students at the UiO to take a trip down to the centre of town on Tuesday 28 March in order to put questions to the rectorial candidates, the vice-rectors and their teams.

The debate will be chaired by Therese Manus who is the Managing Director of the Norwegian Communication Association.

Further information about the candidates and the UiO's election system can be found on the UiO's rectorial election webpage.

The right to vote in an election is an important part of a democratic system and when we cast our votes we become participants. We would therefore encourage everyone to attend this election meeting, become familiar with the candidates and their programmes and take advantage of your right to vote.
