Research projects, construction projects, student pubs and student associations may receive sponsorship support. Sponsors may be promoted within the University's applicable guidelines.
Student associations and student pubs
Sponsors of student associations and student pubs may be promoted through logos on smaller promotional items such as glasses, coasters, uniforms and T-shirts. Parasols, permanent banners, roll-ups, and beach flags are not permitted, nor is branding on tables, chairs, or bar counters.
Inside the premises, there may be a wall near the entrance displaying "Thank you to [sponsor's logo]".
Construction projects
During ongoing construction projects, sponsors may be promoted on UiO's construction site banners and on the construction project website (in Norwegian). Joint press releases and similar communication may also be relevant.
Once the building, area or room is completed, a plaque may be installed acknowledging the sponsor, together with the sponsor's logo. Its design must comply with UiO's signage guidelines (in Norwegian) and visual identity. Information about the sponsorship must also be published on the unit's webpages. Rooms, departments, or buildings at the University may not be named after sponsors.
