Norway Life Science Conference 2024
Health data is without a doubt a topic that arouses great interest, and the conference was held with a record-high participation on 13-14 February.
Thank you to all participants, speakers, partners and industry partners who contributed to making the conference a relevant, engaging and attractive meeting place.
Winners of pitching contest
Six start-ups and innovation projects participated in the pitching contest taking place at the Norway Life Science Conference. There was a high level among the participants, but the jury unanimously agreed on which ones deserved to reach the top.
Join us in celebrating our convergence environments
The funding period for our second generation convergence environment is coming to an end and we invite you to a pleasant gathering where we will hear the researchers' own experiences from being in a convergence environment.
Six new teams ready for SPARK Norway
Six new teams have been admitted to UiO´s innovation programme SPARK Norway. They will develop their ideas within health-related life sciences for the benefit of patients and society.
Summer research projects for students
Registration opened on 15 February 2024 and was closed the following day when it had reached max number of registrants. 150 students have been invited to the matchmaking seminar in March. Of these, 50 students will receive a research project in the summer of 2024.

Inter Circle U. Prize
Prize for inter- and transdisciplinary research. Researchers and research groups are welcome to apply. Deadline: 1 March.
Summer Schools for Students
Circle U. offers summer schools in democracy, climate and global health this year. "Rethinking Global Health" has an application deadline of 1 March.
