How can we disrupt the communication between bacteria in biofilms in the oral cavity? The research group CrossTalk at the Department of Oral Biology, Faculty of Dentistry, is attempting to discover the answer to this. It is important for eliminating bacteria and to understand the role of biofilms in the development of antibiotic resistance. Here is Professor Fernanda Cristina Petersen who heads the group.
