NORA stands for Norwegian for Academics. These courses are particularly suitable for researchers, PhD candidates, university staff, and other participants with an academic background who wish to develop their Norwegian language skills. Find out more about our NORA courses.
NORA courses prepare participants to use Norwegian in academic and professional settings. B2 proficiency is generally considered the minimum level required to follow degree programs taught in Norwegian at Norwegian universities. NORA0130 (and NORA0130IN/ NORA0130D) provide documentation of B2 proficiency in all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
