The Opening Ceremony will take place at the University Aula (Karl Johans gate 47), surrounded by Edvard Munch’s magnificent murals.
After the ceremony, the City of Oslo will host a reception at the City Hall, which is also the venue for the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
Good to know
You will not be able to join either the Opening Ceremony in the University Aula or the City Hall reception if you have not signed up in advance.
Students often dress up for the occasion.
Be aware that there will be a security check, so please do not bring any large bags, backpacks or coats.
