16 November – Time for questions about the exam!
On Tuesday 16 November you will be given some last practical information about the up-coming exams and the auxiliary material. And you will be given the opportunity to ask questions you have concerning the exam and auxiliary material.

Deadline to hand in the semester paper!
It's decided that the deadline to hand in the semesterpaper will be 10 November.
Semester paper autumn 2010
Those who are registered on the course JUR5260/1260 autumn 2010, will be offered to hand-in a semester paper that will be corrected and given comments. Deadline when to hand-in the paper will be announced later! The paper is to be handed in on paper at the Info Centre, Domus Academica, 2nd floor. The Info Centre closes at 15.45 every day.

Rescheduled lecture for the lecture that was cancelled on 10 September
Due to some misunderstanding your lecurerer in English Law of Contract did not show today as scheduled. He was very sorry about that. The lecture is already rescheduled.

Important! Lecture on how to write exams at the Faculty of Law is postponed to 6 October!
Due to continued illness of the professor in charge of the academic programme for the exchange students, the introductory lecture on answering exams at the Faculty of Law, UiO has been postponed to 6 October. The original lecture scheduled for 9 September is cancelled.

Up-dated year of edition
Please take a look at the link “Syllabus/teaching requirements” under the headline ”Teaching”. There you will find changes of the year of edition for some of the reading material. There have been published some new editions the latest year, so look for the edition of 2010 for Jill Pool, Anson’s Law of Contract, Mindy Chen-Wishart and Ewan McKendrik.
Introductory Seminar on Friday 27 August for all new International Students enrolled at the Faculty of Law autumn 2010
Professor Mads Andenæs will introduce legal method and the relationship between Norwegian domestic law and European and international law.
The seminar is voluntarily, but it is recommended if you aren’t already familiar with the Norwegian way of “thinking” law.
