The exam will take place in room Python in OJD. The external examiner will be Hanne Cecilie Geirbo from OsloMet. Astrid will be present in most of the exams.
We start with asking you to talk for 5-10 minutes about a topic of your choice from the curriculum. Some choose to talk about assignment 5, perhaps giving a different view from the one presented in class, some choose a paradigm or a methodology, some choose a topic from the curriculum to dig into. You can talk about a paper you like - or dislike. Whatever you choose, we want to hear that you know the curriculum.
All aids allowed. However, we prefer that you talk instead of showing a digital presentation.
We will give out the grades after the examinations on Wednesday and Thursday. You can ask for en explanation of the grade, https://www.uio.no/english/studies/examinations/explanation-appeal/
Good luck to you all!

the groups present their assignment 5. What do you want to find out and how will you do it? Focus on paradigm, methodologies and methods, and use the presentation as an occasion to practice the curriculum. All members of the groups presents a part. This presentation is a mandatory assignment and it is not graded.
Good luck everyone,

Hi everyone,
I have learned that there are more than one version of the textbook online and that these are different. The authoritative version that we use in the course is the one you will find in oria.no. When you sign in you get access to the online version of the book.
There are earlier online versions that cannot be trusted, where e.g. the chapters do not match the specifications given in the curriculum.

Hi everyone,
I receive reports that there are papers on the reading list that are not available when you click the link in the curriculum list. Those can be found in oria.no by signing in and searching for the paper. There it may seem that the paper is not available, but in such cases you can try again some time later and it will be available.
If this does not help you can email me. I have digital or paper copies of almost all papers in the curriculum.

The full curriculum is now on the course page. There are some articles in the curriculum that are not easily available online. In such cases I have tried to either find a better link or publish the pdf. If you still find references that are not available, please tell me which one and I will try to fix it.

The given deadline for assignment 3 can be extended to March 19 at 23.59 by sending an email to Astrid and me. If you need further extensions we cannot promise feedback before the Easter holidays.
