Please go this spreadsheet and enter the group number at one available time slot. The first groups to register have the most options, so make sure to register early if some of your group members have inflexible schedules or conflicting exam dates!
Please note that the presentation is an oral group exam in the course. Attendance is mandatory.
Remember that the deadline for the final "push" of your application is on the 25th of November (23:59). Please check the submission instructions.
We have now published the evaluation criteria for the group work (oral group exam).
Please also note that we will publish a spreadsheet this coming Friday (around 09:00). A link will be shared here on the semester page messages board. In the spreadsheet you will be able to register your group for an examination time on one of the three examination days November 30th, December 1st or, December 2nd. Please register as soon as possible on Friday, if you know that your group can only present on one specific day / time.
Due to issues with the AV equipment there was no recording of the lecture yesterday. Fortunately, the lecture did not differ significantly from last years lecture. Hence, if you missed the lecture you can look up the recording for the corresponding lecture last year. The main difference is that the article by van der Geest & van Angeren (2023) on "Architectural Generativity" is not on the curriculum this year.
Please also note that we will have a guest appearance from the Digitalization Directorate by Tor Arild Sunnevåg in next weeks lecture (29.10.2026). We will discuss governance and values in different types of digital platform ecosystems. See you there!
We have just published the project groups!
Please establish communication with your group members as soon as possible!
As we transition to the group work of the course, we have published some resources.
A general outline of the group project (we will update the links on this page in case of any changes and we will publish a link to the final groups here as well).
A detailed case description with application requirements.
And a DHIS2 technical starting point for the group project.
We need to get ready for the upcoming group work in IN5320! The first step is to establish groups with 5 members in total. You have two alternatives:
Alternative 1) Register a group with 2-3 members using this online form: Project group registration 2026. In this form, you will also have the option to list usernames from one other group that you would like to be merged with. We will try to consider your group merge requesters when composing the final groups consisting of 5 students, but we can not guarantee it.
Alternative 2) You can register as an individual and get assigned to a group. Get assigned to a group using this form: Assign me to a Group
You must be registered, using one of the two alternatives above, by 23:59 on Thursday, October 8th!
Dear all,
This is just a gentle reminder that there is a written midterm exam on October 6th at 9:00 AM (2 hours) .
Place: Silurveien 2 Sal 3C. Make sure you check how to get there in time!
The examination system will be Inspera. The exam will be in the form of 60 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be based on the self-paced course modules and the compulsory assignments.
Passing the midterm exam is a requirement for working in the project groups.
In preparation for the upcoming midterm exam on October 6th, here is a multiple-choice test with 15 questions. The actual midterm exam, which will have 60 questions.
These 15 questions should serve as an indication of the type and format of the questions you will get. Correct answers are on the final slide.
We have just published the first lecture (see the course schedule) so that everyone that did not attend yesterday can get a clear sense of the course practicalities, objectives and expectations.
