For the lecture on April 1, please read Ch 21, Weitzman (1998), and Karp (2005). (There are no lecture notes in addition, but I will post the slides after Monday's lecture.)

Questions 6 and 7 refer to question 4. That is a typo: It should here be 5, not 4. Sorry!

Since it was not announced in advance, we will NOT have student presentations during the seminars (even though we have discussed this briefly in class). The lecturer will discuss the solutions to the problems and solution keys will be uploaded online after the seminar. It is important that you prepare for the seminars by working on the problems yourself. That is the best preparation you can get for the exam.
