Senior Investment Associate, Hadean Ventures
Miao He is a life sciences-focused VC investor at Hadean Ventures, investing across therapeutics and other life sciences innovations. At Hadean she identifies and evaluates new opportunities and supports portfolio company management on strategy and fundraising. She led the due diligence for Series A investment into Complement Therapeutics and contributed to the Series A investment into Arthex Biotech. Miao formerly served as a board observer at Cardior Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Novo Nordisk).
Prior to a career in VC Miao was a Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina, where she developed new algorithms for precision oncology, collaborating with Genomics England and key opinion leaders in the industry. Miao has authored over a dozen scientific publications (Nature Genetics, Blood, Nucleic Acids Research). Miao holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from London Business School.
