About the convergence environment initiative

In 2019 eight convergence environments were established. They were selected after an application process that started in 2018. Researchers from various faculties at the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital were involved in the new convergence environments with the goal of addressing major societal challenges in health and the environment. UiO:Life Science funded them with 29 PhD and postdoctoral positions over a period of four years.
