REA:Life Conference June 18-19

Our REA:Life group will have its first in-person meeting since the kick-off meeting earlier this year. The conference will be two days, with the first day spent in Oslo and the second day in Hamar. In Oslo, we will hear about the progress of our PhD students, take a guided tour of Høvedoya Island, and end the day with conference dinner in gardens near Slottsparken. Our second day will be in Hamar, where we will tour the historical herb gardens at Domkirkeodden and hear an inspiring talk from one of our principal investigators.

Venues and transport

Day 1. We will start off the morning in the Lids Hus Auditorium in the Botanical Gardens. After lunch, we will travel to Høvedoya using public transport, so make sure you are able to buy tickets (e.g. the Ruter app).

Day 2: We will be in Hamar. For those using the train, it is recommended to take the R10 from Oslo S at 8.34. We will tour the Domkirkeodden Museum herb gardens before a talk given by Anneleen. We will depart Hamar at 16:07 to arrive back in Oslo at 17:26.
