Despite the current situation surrounding Covid-19, REA:Life researchers are still able to meet up for socially-distanced plant gathering expeditions (and additionally enjoy the incredible local weather).
Our REA:Life network had it first supervision café today. Unfortunately, we couldn't meet in real life but thanks to technology we had a very successful online meeting.
The realization of the REA:Life kick-off meeting is a major milestone in the project. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and it marks the start of our research journey together.

We are happy to announce that our REA:Life convergence environment received funding from UiO:Life Science! We will be studying the processes that have shaped the social and cultural development of medicine and we will identify bioactive compounds in historical medicinal plants using cutting edge methods in pharmacology, immunology and metagenomics.
