What is Request Tracker (RT)?
- Used at UiO for handeling requests and inquieries in an efficient manner.
Requests enter the RT system via email. Cases can also be registered in RT from phone conversations, visits etc. Requests are solved systematically and kept with a record of all communication regarding the request.
If you send an e-mail to an e-mail address the UiO, and you immediately receive an answer with [rt.uio.no #xxxxxxxxx] added to the subject, your e-mail was received by an RT queue. The first answer is automatic, but you will receive an answer from a person later.
