With a master’s degree in Research in Special Needs Education you will be qualified for work on a high level in kindergartens, schools, counselling and administration. You will be qualified to work in international projects, NGOs and community development projects. You will also be qualified for working as a special needs teacher if you have a bachelor’s degree that provides teaching competence.

Empowering students with special needs
Liisa Kallio completed her Master's degree in Special Needs Education in 2024. She now works as a special educational needs teacher in the Primary Years Programme at an IB (International Baccalaureate) certified school in Norway.
