In this TIME-seminar Georgios Sioros, Guilherme Schmidt Câmara and Mari Romarheim Haugen will present results from the performance experiments conducted in the TIME-project and discuss quantitative methods for the analysis of sound and motion capture data. Associate Professor Werner Goebl will take part in the discussion.

Werner Goebl is Associate Professor in the Department of Music Acoustics – Wiener Klangstil (IWK) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw). With a background in systematic musicology, psychology, and computer science, his research focuses on motion analysis of musical behaviors, quantitative performance research, ensemble synchronization, and the acoustics of keyboard instruments. He co-chaired the 2013 International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) at his alma mater. Being member of the TROMPA project consortium, he extends his research interests towards digital musicology and crowd-based approaches.
