Teaching
The teaching will be given as lectures and seminars.
Lectures
- 20 lectures. Two lectures each week.
- We offer lectures in both Norwegian and English.
- Find the time and place for the lectures here.
The lectures cover the syllabus and will prepare you for the final written exam. It is recommended to follow the lectures throughout the semester.
The lectures are open for everyone. We will publish recordings of the lectures in Canvas. If you cannot attend the lectures, we recommend that you use the recordings.
Seminars
- 7 seminars. The seminars take place every other week.
- You are expected to be prepared and actively participate.
- It is obligatory to attend a minimum of four out of the first six seminars.
- The attendance requirement is absolute. Valid absences will not be granted under any circumstances.

The seminar teaching focuses on strengthening your skills in identifying viewpoints, arguments, and structures in an academic text. You will also receive guidance in academic writing related to the obligatory assignments.
