In this course you will gain hands-on experience of doing grammatical analysis on authentic linguistic data, as well as presenting your own work and engaging with that of your peers. You will do this using non-transformational approaches to syntax (and morphology), which we will learn about in the first part of the course, including a particular focus on Lexical Functional Grammar.
