Hi all -- you need to pass in oblig 5 as soon as possible. We need to send in the list of people allowed to take the exam right away (actually today).
We'll have a Q&A session Monday 29/11 at our normal time 1415.
We'll do a quick summary of the content. But also have a look through the curriculum beforehand and bring questions on what you thought was particularly difficult or just weird.
The last problem consists of all problems at the end of Chapter 4. Due date is Wednesday 24/11.
Next, you can do problems 3.9 and 3.11-3.14. Note that 3.14 is listed as optional, but let's do it anyway (it's fun!). The problems will be due on 1/11.
For the 3rd problem set, take a look at problems 3.1-3.8. We've covered all the material necessary for these. The oblig will be due on 19 October, the week after the midterm. You can hand it in to Gaurav.
The second problem set (from chapter 2) is due 27 September.
We'll have the group sessions from 10-12 on Tuesdays. The room will be 2418. We'll start on 7 September.
First problem set will be due on Monday 13 September.
The lecture notes for the course can be downloaded from a link under the "Miscellaneous" item on the semester pages of this course.

Attendance at the first lecture is compulsory. This also applies to students, at the waiting list for the course. Students who fail to meet, are considered to have withdrawn from the course unless they have previously given notice to the Student administration (studieinfo@geo.uio.no).
